Assalamualaikum and hye all,

Alhamdulillah I am now in my 14th week of pregnancy and enjoying every second of it, kecuali time tengah alah dulu kih kih kih but it is part and parcel of my sweet pregnancy memory so let's not make a fuss about it :). So, today after a month ++, finally I am able to depict on my 1st pregnancy check up.
After much thought and consideration, hubby and I opt for
Full Paying Patient Scheme (FFPS) at Hospital Putrajaya. I must say that many of you haven't heard of FFPS yet and I happened to know about FFPS from my dear friend, Zetty & Awang (yang akan pop out the baby soon hehehe). I was contemplating in choosing whether to have check up and deliver the baby n government or private hospital. I must say that there is no doubt that the best facilities belong to government hospital but there is this paradigm that says, " hospital kerajaan is too crowded, nurse semua garang, tak selesa, penat kena tunggu and so on". Private hospital is definitely a preferable choice given that you have the money to pay or if you are lucky, your company is paying the bills for you.
But, FFPS brings out the best solution. By opting to this scheme, you are entitled to be treated like what you have in private hospital (more or less) with less charges. Among the benefits are you are able to have a choice of specialists and enjoy facilities such as First Class Ward and Executive Ward. Before opted for FFPS, I've done a little research and so far I must say 99% of people who opted for FFPS are satisfied with the service provided.
What you have to do on your first time is of course registered yourself, so off I went to Counter 1 to register and then I was being led to Counter A :
Obstetrical and Gynaecological (O&G). The nurse there will explained in details on the FFPS and then you got to choose the specialist. And owh, the registration fee is RM110 for first timer and RM60 for each consultation/check up afterwards. I chose Dr Hazim as recommended by Zetty. Setengah orang insist nak doktor perempuan kan so kalau nak doktor perempuan, please do. Cumanya female doctors ni sangatlah busy so you have to be extra patient in waiting for your number to be called. And just so you know, FFPS ni ada privilege in which you don't have to wait for hours, that is the greatest perks hahaha at least to me sebab I hate waiting hehehe. But, kalau you opt for female doctors, then lama jugaklah kena tunggu and then takder banyak bezalah dengan pesakit biasa but hey, it's totally up to your preferences and deliberation.
So, after registered, I waited for less than 1 hour and being consulted by Dr Hazim. Very gentle and always smiling, love him instantly ;). Next, the much awaited moment, scanning of the baby. Seronok sangat sebab dia scan in both 2D and 3D, I was so excited, biasalah anak first kan hehehe. Kemudian, adalah sikit-sikit Dr Hazim bagi advise and terus ambil ubat. In total, tak sampai sejam setengah pun dari registration sampai dapat ubat, rasa macam nak melompat kegembiraan sebab tak pernah-pernah hospital/klinik Kerajaan secepat ini. Masa tengah tunggu giliran, saya bersembang dengan seorang kakak kat sebelah tu, dia kata she came as early as 7.30 am and up until saya dah settle semua tu, nombor dia belum kene panggil lagi :(. From that point of view, I feel FFPS is totally worth it. Plus, nanti kalau dah bersalin suami boleh temankan tidur malam, a big yeayyyyyy ;) sebab rasanya hospital Kerajaan memang tak allow suami temankan kan lepas bersalin tu untuk bermalam, tapi for FFPS patient boleh, syukur ya Allah.
My only complaint, bilik consultation dia je agak sempit sebab the doctor kena share berdua but tak kisahlah,as long as I don't have to wait for hours and the doctor and all nurses baik dengan saya hehe ;). So, kalau nak tau pasal FFPS lebih lanjut boleh tengok sini ye, daaa~~~

oh oh, pastu dengar dari banyak nurse yang jahitan Dr. Hazim sangat kemas nak bandingkan dengan doktor perempuan kat situ. huhu!
xexet: seriously? itu sgt penting wooo jahitn yg kemas haha membantu utk ms hadapan hehehe
waa...de eyh scheme tu kt gov...heee...
kt ipoh ni xde la kan...gee bersalin kt hospital private je...sbb pikirkan sng hubby nk teman...n family dtg nk melawat :)
gee: hehehe mmg takder pun kt ipoh yang, skrg kat hosp putrajaya n selayang je ada, lucy me ;) hehe itula, private ni sbb pk keselesaan kita n org nk melawat kan? tapi Alhamdulillah FPP ni boleh suami teman, cuma waktu melawat masih mcm biasa la utk yg lain2
slm dik, maaf ckp ya.. sebaiknya pilihlah doktor perempuan instead of lelaki, ini bkn kes darurat pun.. adakah adik pilih doktor lelaki tu hanya berdasarkan ckp2 org yg mengatakan doktor lelaki lebih bagus? jgn buat keputusan based on pendapat org, kelak kita yg tanggung semua dosa.. maaf ye, just concern shj..
ooh.. klu ku tahu ada scheme ini.. huu.. tp dah masuk second pregnancy ni dah selesa dgn O&G dulu.. pasrah je lah.. huu.. malu nak bagi org lain tengok.. biar O&G tu sorang je.. huuu
fiza: hehe tapi FPP ni so far baru ada kat putrajaya & selayang je, soon maybe dia buat kat semua hosp kot. Memang ramai amek FPP sebab semua nak cepat & selesa je kan haha plus dia xsemahal private hehehe. kekekekek segan kan nk tunjuk kat org lain? xleh nk bayangkan la huhuhu
Salam,
Mmg betul ke doctor hazim ni ok yea? sbb kalu bleh mmg nk dgn dr hamidah tp die x amik patient lg sbb dh ramai sgt.
im 19 weeks pregnant, so tgh mencari2 utk bersalin kt mane. pilihan pertama mmg fpp putrajaya, cuma tak pasti mcm mane dgn kepakaran dr hazim...
Thanks.
mryas: ws, so far mmg puas hati sebab dia baik & caring. even nurse kat situ pun semua amek dengan dia and according to them, jahitan dia paling kemas. Plus dia akan seboleh2nya cuba untuk bagi kita bersalin normal and without epidural which is my concernla. tapi setiap orang ada masing2 punya preferences kan. so far dah 3 of my friends amek dgn dia and semua puas hati ;)
