Huaa.. what a stressful weekend I had but hey, the new week has folded up and I have to keep on living positively right? Okie, so today I would like to share some makeup tips from one of my favourite site: http://malaysia.shoppinglifestyle.com/. Using this tool called Makeup Matcher, you can find the perfect shades for your makeup depending on your skin tone. Basically your skin tone, according to this tool, is categorized by your ethnic group, either Malay, Chinese, Indian or Caucasian. So, pasni dah tau dah which shades or colors that will compliment your skin well, takderlah nampak kusam dah kan :)
So, like me, I am Malay so in general, Malay is considered having olive skin tone. The shades that I should consider when applying makeup are as follows: (you can try yourself )
Your Skin Tone : Olive Tone
Your Complementary Makeup Shades:
Note: The following shades are based on the average skintone of your ethnic group. If you are considerably darker or fairer than average, this analysis may not be accurate for you.
Your choice of foundation should be yellow-toned only. Avoid pink- or orange-based foundation which is out for your skin tone.
Great cheek colors are rosy browns. Gold, bronze and copper shades are your best colors, use them to highlight your eyes or cheeks for luminosity and radiance.
For the eyes, go for purplish-browns, dark blues, rosy pinks, and greens. Avoid shades of white, greys and browns.
Lipstick shades for you are sugar-browns, wine, latte, and burgundy.
